So I think it was Wednesday I had my friend Josh who I'm still not sure is gay or just bi, but regardless. Me and him both hungout knowing our intentions with each other, which would later be more than friends. Well the friend part lasted from about 3 till 4:30 and then my pants came off and he gave me a hand job. And it felt really good, and I have gone all the way with a girl and still chase tail at school, but this was my first homosexual encounter and really enjoyed it. And I was wondering if my sexuality was something to discuss with my psychiatrist in the fact it could affect other aspects of my life?

This was a same sex encounter, different from a homosexual one, b/c that would indicate you were doing it as the result of your (gay) sexuality. And, that's not at all determined by just sex.

Yes, I think you should discuss this (and anything else that you want ) with your psychiatrist, it can give you an understanding and perspective on this behavior.

Edit: They would NOT tell your parents about this! Legally, they are boubd to confidentiality, unless you are in physical danger, and this does not qualify!

I think that a therapist is there for you to talk, and for them to listen. So why not? And for most guys, anyone touching you privates, girl or boy, feels good. So if your still unsure if your gay or straight, just know that almost every guy has a sexual thought or two with the same sex. Dont let it get you down, its natural.

[color=darkorchid]Well, i think smoking is on the fence. As it does harm you, it doesnt hurt you majorly. The therapist could have chosen weather to tell or not. It also might have been how much you smoke.

Anyway, back to the original topic, its up to you if you wish to tell your therapist or not. [/color

Well, it would be okay to tell your psyche doc. They can't release any information of that magnitude. And I'm going through this problem too. My friend is gay, and he asked me if I was bi. I said no because there was another person there. I kinda like him, so I felt bad not telling him.
