my friend asked me if i would ask if anyone has only one testical, because he has this problem and has been wondering!

Well I think that only about 1 in 200 guys (although I'm probably wrong) have more or less than 2 testicles. The thing is though, it doesn't matter much, because the second ones there only because something might happen to the first one! In other words, they're there to back each other up.

Having only one testi is an unusual thing, but it does happen. It will effect his ability to have kids as there will be less sperm output, but overall it isnt a huge deal in my opinion

Actually, one testical is more common than you think. There are a lot of issues which result in one testicle, and although it can be somewhat unsettling to discover you only have one, you only need one. There is no diff biologically whatsoever, all the *stuff* you need is easily made by one testicle, the other is really ust a spare. Your friend will notice nothing, other than the physical absence of one testicle. And if this bothers him, a prosthetic ('artificial') one can be put in which would look and feel like the other one.

Many people who have one testicle don't actually have one testicle but 2, and have one of them hidden away above the other one! But still, if he does have one testicle, I don't think it's a problem.

yeah (i don't have that problem thank god!!)
when a baby is still inside it's mother, the testicals are inside it's abdomen.they get down a few weeks before the birth.sometimes only one (or none) of the testicals get down
that problem can be solved before the boy gets too old

I never knew of anybody with just one, but I've heard of cases where a testicle didnt descend from inside the body. Could this be his problem. Has he checked with his doctor?

People have only one testicle sometimes ive heard of like 12 people or so who have only one testicle on this site. No worry's my OP's friend.
