Most definatly. Even though people talk about them I.E. Sell-outs and such they don't understand that is there living. But my favourite song is for whom the bell tolls or their cover of Turn the page.

St. Anger was good. A very underrated album and song. I'm gonna buy tickets on Saturday for a Metallica concert that's all the way in September lol

Meh, your opinion. I think Metallica is one of the most inspirational bands. By the way Metallica out of all their inspirations including Iron Maiden Bob Seger, QUeen, Diamond Head, Black Sabbath Are WAY better than Iron Maiden.

Are you kdding me!? Iron Maiden is way better because they aren't fame whores and actually have a good singer!
Metallica's songs sound all the same except for their popular songs, and they are popular because they dont sound like another song.
Iron Maiden is like on every continent(obviously not Antartica).

To each his own. When I made this topic I didn't want to fight about who's better. SO by your logic influences= better than the actual band?So Deep Purple is better than Iron Maiden because Deep Purple influenced them. Also about the famewhores crap Queen quit once Freddie MErcury died so they weren't fame whores -_-
