Well, it's not very common to get painful, probably costly, surgery done just because you feel left out, nor would I recommend it.

If you really feel you need it though, talk to your parents.

most guys are circumcised as babies. i think it'd be pretty painful to get it done now. i think uncut dicks are kinda gross but i know guys that have them and they're comfortable with it. just get comfortable with ur own body. that's what i'd suggest.

Uh, getting circumcised just to fit in is the worst possible decision you can make regard to your penis. The reality is that the only time your teammates are going to see your penis is in the shower, and even then it is for a short period. If your team is really tight and works well together, then they are not going to rip on you for being uncut. Just because you have some extra skin on your penis doesn't make you different from your teammate, and getting cut is not going to make you any closer to them. You need to focus on other ways to fit in such as being a good swimmer instead of cosmetic ways of fitting in. Trust me, if you are a good swimmer and work hard at doing your stuff, then you will more than fit in which will do much more than any circumcision will do for you.

On a side note, any self surgery is a really bad thing. The penis had many, many nerves, and a self circumcision is going to be a new level of pain that no one should experience. If you truly want to get cut, then see a medical professional.

THIS IS HOW I FELT DOING, to fit in. as for self circumcision no way. please tell me how you feel about your penis are you happy with what you got.( cut /uncut)

I can understand your not feeling like you fit in b/c of your foreskin, but I'd encourage you to define yourself by things other than the stuff you can see (like foreskin). It's incredibly hard to imagine that others do not see you any differently b/c of that difference, and it's also mind bending to imagine a time when you could actually not care if you *look* like other guys, but both really are true.

Teenagers are incredibly self conscious, esp. about sexual matters (and guys esp. about penis stuff), but that's really temporary. As you get more comfortable with yourself and all those other puberty changes, you naturally adjust to *whatever* your penis looks like.

I'd strongly suggest that you work on those things about yuorself that really matter: The kind of person you are, how you treat others, your values, etc. On a swim team, what matters is skill, supportiveness, and spirit. No one really judges you on your penis, anyway.

I live from time to time in a all boys school. When you go to the shower everyone looks at each other, most of them are cut . they see you and tease you cos you different. SO WHAT DO I DO. put up with it get cut and be like them. Has this happened to you, tell me what you said or did to stop the torment, does it bother you at all. being bullied its not fun even over a foreskin. go ahead and look at each other were all boys, we all have a penis. a foreskin might look ugly to some circumcised boys but its all i got.

Yeah, I put your other post together with this one after I posted my response. But, that doesnt change my understanding of your situation, nor my advice.

Like you, they respond to what they're accustomed to. You were raised in a situation where everyone looked one way, and now, it's somewhat of a shock to be in a situation where that's just nnot the case. Same for them.

So, what you're all doing is reacting to the same thing: Differentness. We're comforted by similiarity, and unsettled by difference, esp. when everything else about us is changing so much

I'd ignore the taunts, it comes from their own insecurity about themselves. Your differentness (foreskin) is new and a bit threatening to them, b/c you have something they don't, and they donlt know what to do with that, so they degrade it. Don't take it personally, try not to react to it, and eventually it will stop. They just need to get used to it (and you), and see all those other things about you that are likeable.

Ok i will put it another way: I not know if you are cut or not but when i uncut boy takes a leak(urinate) it can go all over the place, if you are cut you have a thin flow you can control. yes i could pull my foreskin back every time i went , and sometimes when i do this i get an erect penis as it feels nice to do it. it also slows the flow, but like you said i may grow out of this time may tell.

LOL! Pulling your foreskin back feels good, so you get erect. That does kinda gets in the way of the straight stream! With time, though, you'll be able to enjoy the sensation of pulling it back and not get erect. Just stay at it and don't think about it when it happens.

i dont think its a good idea to get circumsized after you start going through puberty. its just easier to stick with what you've got, its good to be a little different sometimes! :)

I honestly don't see why anyone cares about a little tiny piece of skin so much...whether you have it or not it's not going to change your life. I don't think getting cut would be a decision someone would regret for the rest of their life. It's a tiny piece of skin that basically does NOTHING to enhance or decrease sexual performance or anything.

I on the other hand much prefer the look of a circumcised penis because out of the hundreds of penises I've seen (in real life) less than 5 were uncircumcised. It's just what I'm used to.

i think dogs are a different subject to my question, yes we cut tails off but it is needed to be done. (re:sheep) but I do understand your answer. as babies you can't say don,t do it to me(cut it off) but if you are older and want to be cut then it should be up to you. tell me if you wanted it done or not: to all . would you have it reversed

No don't do it just because you feel left out that's not good. One thing my parents always tell me is "If your friend jumps off a bridge, are you going to jump off a bridge too?" so why go through something major just to fit in, be original. I know you probaly want to be like everone else and that's ok to a point, like what you wear but I would never do nothing major. In my opinion you should not get cut unless it becomes a health issue. yes some do some don't. it depends on how they react to seeing what you got. I know that some cut boys feel that they have missed out on the experence of a foreskin. maybe it has to do with a lot of peer pressure . but boys will be boys with there toys.
