Don't know how to talk to him

Heyy everyone

I like this guy, who I've known for about a year now, and I'd say we're good friends.

He lives in a city 2 hours away from me (if I take the train to where he is), and I know him through this organisation that we're both members of. I saw him over the weekend when I went down to visit a friend for her birthday, and I got on really well with him and stuff.

I'm not sure whether he just sees me as a friend, though, and I don't know how to bring things like that up in conversation. Also, I don't want to get my hopes up in case he doesn't like me at all (!), so I have no idea what to do. I like him, but I'm really doubtful and don't want to do anything which I'll regret/which will make him see me as a desperate/sad freak XD. Haha

Any advice on how I could talk to him without sounding really bad?

Simple answer: flirt.

If you have his number or IM adress, try flirting via these forms of communication. If he flirts back he probably likes you!

If you don't have his number or IM adress and only see him when you hang out (which is apparently not often) get it!!!

If in the worst case scenario you or him does not have any of these, just flirt and so the next time you see him, and see how things go. This to me seems like a great starting point for a relationship, so just let it develop with time.

Well, I speak him to him most days via text/IM, and we talk about random things

I can't really define "flirting" with him because he's just a generally friendly guy and I probably wouldn't be able to tell the different between him flirting, and just being a good friend. He is nice to me, but it could just be friendly.

I don't knowww =p. I'm just gonna keep talking to him and see what happens =p
