Need some self confidence before shaving down there...

I'd really like to shave all of My genital and anal area (Yes as most of You would know, You also get hairs around Your a-hole)

Before I'll make My first attempt in actually shaving down there (I usually trim, have done so twice so far) I'll need some help, I'm just going to ask a few questions to make so I will do it all right without cutting any bits.

I'll ask My Dad to teach Me how to shave My mustache so I know how to exactly use the razor blade. Speaking of razors, should I use a normal hand razor blade (not electric) or a electric one? The electric ones are awfully big and might not be easy shaving down there so I'm thinking of using the bladed razors, what do You guys recommend?

The main thing I'm worried about is how would I shave My balls? I look at My ball sack and think about shaving and say to Myself "What a mission that would be!" its, not wrinkley but, just got heap of liney hump kinda things, because Im not that far into developing where My balls grow alot bigger and make the sack tighter/smoother, how would I safley run a razor blade over all of that?

Plus, I heard to use alot of shaving cream,

1. How much is enough?
2. Do You put the cream on the blade or the pubes?
3. If on pubes, wouldnt it make it hard to see where they are?

Sorry if I make any mistakes, I've never ever shaved any part before and the first part will be My mustache then My genital area.

Firstly, it is a great idea that you talk to your Father about learning how to shave as no matter how much we explain how to shave on the internet you still need someone around to guide you with how to use a blade. The principles of shaving your face is essentially how you would do so with your privates and anal area. As for how to shave your pubes, the first thing you should do is get a small pair of scissors and use them to trim down your pubes down to the skin. Once your pubic hair is pretty well trimmed down, then take a couple of drops of shaving cream and spread it around the area which you want to trim. Using the same principles of shaving your face you do the same with the areas around your pubes. Use a disposable rasor for your pubes as you don't want to reuse that same rasor on your face or anywhere else. I would definitely not use an electric face shaver in this area as you don't want to use the same blades that you use down here on your face. The only electrical rasor I would use down in this area is a body hair groomer.

As for shaving your scrotum it is really hard to do so with a manual rasor. My suggestion is to invest in a body hair groomer which can easily get to the hard to shave areas without actually knicking you and causing cuts.

As for your anal area, I would only use a manual disposal rasor here. Again, you spread the shaving cream on the cheeks of your butt and slowly pull down on the area you need to shave. Basically, the same way you shave your face is how you shave around your anal area.


In short, do the following:

1) Get a shaving lesson from your Father.
2) Get some manual rasors and shaving cream or gel for your privates and anal area.
3) Invest in a body hair groomer for shaving areas like your scrotum and any other parts of your body where you find hair unattractive.

The final thing I will add here is that is actually a good idea to talk with your girlfriend about body hair grooming. Because women tend to remove hair from most areas of their body your girlfriend definitely will have insights on what you can use for yourself. I think your girlfriend would be a good resource for shaving your body, but you should not use her as a substitute for your Father to learn how to shave your face.

Lemme throw a wrench in this for a minute, if I may.

If you've never shaved, as in your face (which is much easier than your pubes!), then I'd suggest you gain some expereince with that first. Shaving with cream and a razor takes time ti master, a razor is incredibly sharp and extremely unforgiving, it doesn't really take much to injure yourself. And, the less experience you have the more the chance that you will.

That said, if you absolutely must shave your pubes and gooch hairs, use an electric razor, it's far safer. Trim them all as close to the skin as you can, and then whisk the remaining hairs with the electric razor. Go slowly, and put some hand lotion on the are afterwards, as it will be a bit iritated.

As for using an electric facial rasor on your pubes I really would discourage you from doing that. Either use a body hair groomer or a manual rasor.

As for how to shave your pubes, shave with the grain so that you don't get any in-grown hairs.

Congratulations on your first shave, and you should always consult with your parents about puberty stuff as they are there to help you.

I believe K-Mart and Target exist in your country, and you should be able to find these products in the health and beauty aisles or whatever you can them in your country.

first i suggest not use an electric razor,just a normal one
so,personally i would suggest you to shave it
just trim it
i tried as well and didn't like it
it's not that nice without any hair at all. it's like you're a baby
next,it will start to grow again but then it will itch all the time and it will hurt you and there will be some pimples
anyway personally speaking it was awful
since then i shave only my balls
about that it's not that hard as it it seems or as you think
the ball-sack is sometimes relaxed and layed down and sometimes tight and ''hard''(depending on the temperature)
i would suggest to shave it when it's tight
it's easier
next remember to be CAREFUL
it's kinda hard to describe
whatever.... you'll find it out when you do it
just be careful and don't do quick moves

Listen, there are many answers to any question, and this one is no exception. But it's really unwise to go with a razor blade on your scrotum, pubes, and goochies, esp, if you've never shaved even your face! You could cut yourself badly and bleed terribly and need emergency room treatment. Do not do this! And, recommending razor shaving to someone with no experience is foolish and downright irresponsible.

An electric groomer is far safer, it is much less likely to cut you, esp. a 'true' electric razor with those circular rotating heads. There are little covers over them that really prevent cutting.

BUT, I will leave you with one very simple question. Why?
Or, in it's extended form, why the hell would you want to look like a ten year old and shave off your hair, at the risk of cutting and having immense pain in your testicles?

I would love to know the answer to this question...as I DO NOT understand it. So, using a sharp pointy object to run near and possibly over your delicate man parts is a bad idea. On a scale of 1 to 10 of bad..it's 12.

you should use and electric reazor which i think is one of the most important things becouse there less couse to cut you,
i can never get the hair around the column of my penis, so i use a small scisor, maybe you should try that

The others have given good advice, and I will not parrot everything they have said. To address your point about the body hair groomer in relation to an electric facial rasor, the fact remains that the two are designed and function differently. A body hair groomer is more like, out of better words, an electric rasor which your barber uses on your hair whereas a facial rasor is as Sam mentioned having the small circular blades. The reality is that shaving areas with course hair such as your pubes is not suited for an electric facial rasor unlike a body hair groomer which is designed for such a purpose.

As for your parents question as to why you have such a product as long as you don't show it to them, then they won't figure out you have one. Just keep the groomer in your room, and don't leave it in the washroom where others can see it.

As mentioned above, using a rasor on the areas you want to shave is a really bad idea especially since you just learned how to shave and could hurt yourself down there. It is far more embarassing to ask to see a doctor for cutting your scrotum or penis than it is to be caught with a body hair groomer.
