Is there any way to record games that you play on a console (in my case, an XBox 360), without buying programs such as Dazzle. I've been thinking and was wondering if it would be possible to connect the AV Input from the TV to the DVD Recorder. And the AV Output to the Camera, and have it on record. Or something similar to this. Would this work?

What you COULD do, is use a double-ended AV cable, plug 1 end into the AV OUT port of your TV, and the other to the DVD recorder, then record your playback onto a DVD, before burning the DVD onto your computer. You CAN'T just plug your Xbox into the DVD recorder, the you can't see what you're playing! Another way is to use the same method above, but connect the AV cable to the AV ports on your computer(if you have them) instead of the DVD recorder. Finally, if you have a camcorder with AV IN ports, then plug the AV cable into the camcorder, hit record and you're done!
If none of these work for you, you'll have to get a Dazzle.
Sorry for the long explanation!:P
Hope this helps!

Yeah, but firstly, Fraps is free, but videos can only be recorded up t oa maximum of 30 secs. Secondly... it's for PC only... Lolz
