I almost cut

I almost cut about a month or two ago...I was feeling so much emotional pain I just felt like I couldn't take it anymore...but then I thought of how much pain my boyfriend had caused me when he cut and I didn't want to cause anyone else pain...and I knew that cutting would only make my problems worse...I felt God speak to me that night...and instead of cutting I read my Bible instead and discovered I have a father who loves me despite everything.

Well I think that's part of the reason he stopped. I broke up with him a few months ago...we had dated for four months. He told me sometime during the second month that he was cutting. At first I was at a loss for words...because he just didn't seem like the person to do that, then I wasn't sure what to do...I talked to my youth pastor and he told me telling him was the best thing I could do for him. I stuck with him for two more months but finally I just couldn't take it anymore. I couldn't deal with him and the grieving. So I broke up with him...I loved him but I just could not handle all that at the moment. I think our break up had a big effect on him...and it has sparked a change in him.
