and well my ex thinks i can sing(i don't think so but whatever)

bottom line is
i don't know what to sing

Hmm, sometimes people can't tell if their own voice is nice or not.
Your ex might be right. What can go wrong from trying?

Is there any type you like better?

i would start with something relatively easy at first, and if that song goes well, stick to it, but if it isn't really at your level, then look for something harder...

i have very little experience in sining btw, im in the choir, but we just sing what we are given, i dont really know the diff between an easy and a hard song, so this is also mainly from an instrument player's POV...

same thing with me, my ex, and a few other people say i can sing, but i still dont think i can, whenever i hear recordings of me, i cringe...idk...

desi i know that this is an old post
but u rele rele do have a very great singing voice
u r doing awesome and i think that u have some very good talents hidden away inside of you
and besides lookit the comments that u got on youtube for your two recordings
your voice is absolutely wonderful<3
