is god bad?

ok so to start with a quote from a song:

This got me thinking.. we say that god created everything which means he also created the sins himself..and gave us the ability to commit these sins..

doesn't this make him bad?

Christians will argue that God gives people free will to make their own decisions. Don't quote me on that however, I'm not a Christian- But I figure that's what many would say.

I, however, could easily think of other reasons as to why God is an asshole. After all, in the Bible he does kill millions of innocent people, and sends people to Hell, which is an infinite punishment for a finite crime. You'd think such a powerful being wouldn't take offense over such trivial things, such as, stealing a cookie from a cookie jar.

I know not religious either, i can see way too many points against it to be
like the whole Lucifer thing.. god's meant to be all powerful and he's supposed to be all knowing.. so in other words he knew that Lucifer would rebel and yet he let it happen?

First off, I have not yet found evidence to support the theory of God. However, if he does exist, there would be many interpretations for His doings.

I don't believe in the Christian God cause Bible contradicts it self a lot and no real evidence for him, but the Christian God seems like a asshole

and the riddle is just another thing that contradicts it.. if you say yes then he's not all powerful coz he can't eat it.. and if you say no then same thing coz he can't make it hot enough

If you consider the Christian God to be a literal God, I can see a strong case for him being evil.

If you consider God the force of life and an unthinkable being, it's not good or bad, it just is.
