I was wonderig how far do u have to go to lose your virginty? For example, if you get a BJ would that be losing your virginity or do you have to like go all the way with a girl to lose your virginty? Also I was wondering if you like did something with a guy would that be concidered losing your virginity?

It depends a lot on what you personally believe, but I'm pretty sure the definition as defined by a dictionary is one who has not had vaginal intercourse.

Yes getting a bj is oral sex which would be considered losing your virginity. And yes doing something with a guy is gay sex so yes for answers

Actually, it is not. Vaginal sex or just normal intercourse with a male/female is losing your virginity. Not blow jobs or oral sex.

I personally don't consider oral sex as losing your virginity, but I do consider anal or vaginal as losing it. It differs from person to person.

I agree with Jared here.
Some people will argue that oral sex is losing your virginity but you have to realize those people are the one who have not had pussy since pussy had them.

I would say having penetrative vaginal/anal sex would be losing your virginity

that's a tough question. oral sex IS sex. that's why sex is in the name. but i think losing your virginity means a penis is in a vagina. or in a butt.

Sex is sex, no matter what type. If you haven't had sex, you're a virgin. If you have, vice-versa.

Sex may be sex, but the actual definition of virgin is "A person who has not experienced sexual intercourse." 'Sexual intercourse' refers to vaginal sex. Therefore, it doesn't matter what your opinion may be, the actual definition of virgin is "A person who has not experienced sexual intercourse."

In the dictionary I read, it says there has to be penetration for you to lose your virginity.

Some people have different beliefs on it. But I agree with the definition in that you have to have vaginal intercourse to have lost your virginity.

Virginity is more of a concept than an actual defined item in itself. Loosing your virginity isn't really like having an arm amputated where you either have it or you don't...its more what the person believes. Different people have differing views on what it actually is and therefore what you have to do to lose it. As a couple of people pointed out the dictionary states or at least implies that it needs to be vaginal sex, others believe any kind of penetration is loosing it, some even talk about different types of virginity eg. I have lost my oral virginity from a blowjob with a guy but haven't lost anal virginity yet.
It isn't really that much of a big deal anyway. I don't believe in virginity because I think that you are no different for better or worse after having any kind of sexual contact with anyone. Its not like you change and its not like it matters from a biological point of view. People only make out like it is important because of male teenage egos wanting stuff to compare (like have you lost your yet etc) and because society generally makes a big thing about it. If you actually think about it for what it really is, then why does it matter?

You're not loosing your virginity when you get BJs but, you are having sex. Because oral is a type and form of sex so you're basically loosing like your mouth viginity or your oral sex virginity but not intercouse virginity.

When I think of sex, I think of vaginal or anal sex.. I don't think that a blowjob would mean that you lost your virginity. In my beliefs it is anal/vaginal with a guy/girl.

Full on intercourse is losing your virginity. So if you give it to a guy up his bottom, or you take it up there, you are no longer a virgin. You lose your virginity if you penetrate or are penetrated.
[sorry for any explicit language, i couldn't put it into less vulgar terms]

Although this counts as sexual activity, it is not having sex. To lose virginity, you must give/receive anal/vaginal sex.
