It was the same every lunch. Slip out of school, through the fields of yellow and stop in the middle of nowhere. They felt safe here, it was there own retreat. 4 people from totally different backgrounds with one thing in common.
Up in the sky, a plane made its passage. Down below the group looked up at the mark it made in the perfect sky. They all longed to be on a plane. The girl wanted to fly it, a twin wanted to flee on it, an emigrant wanted to return on it, and I, I wanted to be on one forever.
