Okay so she has cancer in her mouth or jaw I forgot which but still it scares me. What should I do to get over my feelings of being scared because it brings me down everytime I think about it.

It is okay to be worried. She is your friend, and the prospect of your friend having something as dangerous and deadly as cancer is going to worry you if you are a normal human being.
The problem is that it can interfere with your life, as I'm sure you've figured out. The main thing you can do is simply try to find it within yourself to keep going, to keep pushing through every day even when you are feeling down. Do things that will keep you occupied as well, whenever you can. Do things that are fun, or which require you to think so you aren't constantly having your mind on your friend's cancer.
And remember... it's okay to worry. It shows that you care, which is a good thing. Just do things to try to keep your mind off of it. :)

Yeah, it's never not okay to worry about your friends. Try to do things to keep your mind off of it. I hope your friend gets better.

This is very nice, Rex.
When we hear the word 'Cancer', we always equate it with 'Death'. Which is understandable, b/c it often leads to it. However, that isn't as true as it once was, the 'cure' (remission) rate for many common cancers is actually quite high. Unfortunately, the types we most often hear about don't have such a success rate.
There are two things to do here which might help. The first is to find out exactly what type and stage the cancer is, and either ask your friend about it, or look it up online. You'll at least have the info needed to help guide your feelings, hopefully alleviate them altogether.
The other thing you can do is tell your friend how much she means to you and how frightened you are for her, and you. People often don't know how to approach the cancer patient with these feelings, and most respond well to these types of convos, they're having the same feelings you are, but often feel they shouldn't burden their friends and family with them.
Finally, the scaryiest thing about cancer (psychologically) is that it reminds us time is not limitless. Use that awareness to be absolutely sure you are enjoying and appreciating every moment of time you have with her.
Good luck!
