He is an actor. Actors can not be tied down to one type of roll. I think he made a great choice in deciding to do that play. It will further his career, and make him a better actor.

I hate actors that stick to the same rolls over and over. so yes, it was a smart idea.

I think it was a publicity stunt on the part of the promoters who hoped to sell extra tickets because people would be curious to see Harry Potter naked. Exploitation really. I also think (OK I'm putting on my hard helmet and preparing to duck here) Daniel Radcliffe is a crap actor that will struggle to get any work once the Harry Potter movies are finished. He's no Jamie Bell, Paul Dano or Shea LeBeouf (dont think that spelt right, sorry)

Sure, i dont mind. He should live his own life how he wants to.
Plus, Daniel Radcliffe is only the actor in the movies (which suck anyway :P).
As for younger readers/movie watchers, it's not like their parents will be like "Oh, that's the Daniel Radcliffe that went nude on broadway!"
If someone is too young to deal, they shouldn't be watching naked plays anyways.
Sure it was a big deal when it happened, but now it doesn't matter really, and it's barely even common knowledge.

I honestly think he made a great decision in deciding to widen his acting range. You can't stick to one role forever. The Harry Potter movies made him famous, and he just can't stick to that forever. I think he made a bad decision in being naked on stage. Sure, it was part of the play, but, he's stil young, maybe he should have waited. I'm sure that many fangirls would have DIED to see Daniel naked.

It's up to the parents I think. The younger fans can be very impressionable, so the parents need to be picky on some things but not all things. When you see a Harry Potter movie, you shouldn't think "That's the naked Daniel Radcliffe, not the actor". Sure, it was a bit controversial, but I think there are other issues to deal with now.

I support people trying to branch out and grow. At any oppurtunity. It is a great show, I've seen it, not with him, but I've seen the play. And its not like he's up there in a porno! Its a character and if it was a porno, yes I do believe it woud reflect poorly to his childhood fans, but this is a perfectably respectable role and a great oppurtunity that he took advantage of.

I dont think so.
What he did in Equus was actual acting and an attempt to make the move to more serious acting and roles.
Who cares if was naked for one intense scene? Kids that are underage couldn't even get into it. People are just pervs and should leave him alone. Plus, most kids don't even know about Equus.
Yea, nothing happened because its over now...or soon. i cant remember if its still on broadway...huh either way, its been going on for along time and nothing happened, hes fine
