Hey I just wanted to say that I am new to the forum and that I have the most wonderful girlfriend in the world. But there is a problem. You see when I was in 7th grade my dad died and I started smoking cigarettes. To this day I still smoke at least 2 times per day. Does anyone know any helpful thing that could help me quit so I can be there for her forever. I have already tried cutting back and cold turkey but they didn't work. So if someone could help me that would be great

Welcome to VT! Firstly the majority of this thread is not an intro so you should have written this somewhere else, perhaps the white padded room, but as you are new that doesn't really matter this time.
Giving up smoking is hard work especially for people such as yourself when they smoke to relieve stress. Most people who try to give up end up starting again because the are friends with people who smoke and they simply can't resist. As for your situation, I would suggest cutting down day by day, I know you have already tried this but keep track of how you're doing - by this I mean draw up a table of how many you are smoking each day for a week, then write down how many you want to cut down by at the end of the month and try to keep to it.
