sorry if this doesn't belong here, but my girlfriend thinks it would be hot if I learned the british english accent, and she would learn it also, does anyone know where I could find any resources for this, I've tried google but I didn't find much.

lol you mean like the differant pronounciations of tomato and stuff or like the posh accent which would seem a bit strange. Which one?

umm as a guy from britain i'm a bit insulted you'd generalise us that way. there's no such thing as a british accent. There are dozens of accents:
Kent, Northern, Scottish, Welsh Valleys, Liverpudlian, Birmingham, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Northern Irish, Cornwall, Cardiff, Herefordshire, Leeds etc. etc.
London has a few accents itself from the "British accent" as americans know, the way posh londoners talk, to Cockney, the way common Londoners talk.
I don't think you can actually learn an accent online, you'd have to spend time with someone who had the accent.

accents, i hate the way accents are portrayed. i was watchin an american programme, the other day and they were ''visiting'' ireland, and it was a joke. the actors tried to speak with an irish accent, absolute joke!

ahh thats it thanks alex
And anyways that would be like a british person saying they want an english accent. Do they want the gangster accent, the hick accent? The preppy accent? The minnisota accent?
