Okay, so at school my friend talks about people behind their backs who are also his friends. Another kid said he was talking about me and I think it is true. I don't want to confront him because then he will try to get everyone against me... What should I do?

Being two faced is really scummy behavior. People should at least be honest, or frankly have the cajones to be true to their convictions. You either like someone or you don't, and regardless of the crowd, one should at least be honest.
That said, what you CAN do is the next time your two faced lout of a friend bad mouths someone behind their back, tell him that what he's doing isn't right, and that you sure hope he doesn't do that to you behind your back.
People who do these kinds of things typically are very insecure and have a higher than normal need for acceptance and apporval (which is why they do it), so you're comments should hit home pretty directly for him.

I just say dont let that bullshit bother you. Its mature and petty.
When they talk about you just laugh. You'll feel better and they'll feel like asses.

almost everyone talks shit about people behind their back. you just have to accept it as being part of life and not let it bother you.

Thanks for the answers. It just gets to me because one minute he's all cool then when I or someone else leaves. He starts talking crap again. Oh well, I definatly will have to love with it though.

This person is obviously very two-faced, which I extremely dislike.
What this "friend" is doing is wrong, and I think you should politely point that out and tell him to be honest about things instead going behind peoples backs and talking crap. Most two-faced people are not secure with themselves so they feel the need to say mean things about another person to someone else, to gain respect from them. Yet they are nice to that person they've been talking about because they are not entirely confident in admitting to their dislike of them.
If this person is saying stuff about you, I think you should rise above and not let it bother you. Let them know you don't care so they can feel like an ass. If they know you don't care they'll probably quit talking about you.
