(If its too much to read, skip to the second paragraph).

Now, its no secret, camera phones suck. From 2 to 5 megapixles, they just gernerally suck like an overpriced Dysun vacuum cleaner (http://www.dyson.com/store/productcat.asp?category=UPRIGHT) that's no better than a used Hoover (http://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/images/object_images/535x535/10240907.jpg) from a local thrift shop.
However, we tend to see many phones chocked full with editing features like white balance, color filters, and other bullshit that makes oblivious that, in the end, the picture still sucks ass. That of course is untrue if you use good third party software to awesomefy your pictures, like I do (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v333/LZSchneider/img1231365168246.jpg) (Yes, "awesomefy" is a very subjective word), but one doesn't have access to such software then you're stuck with three options: 1) Keep taking crappy pictures, 2) Buy an actual camera, or 3) If you're a cheap bastard and yet hold the inginuity skills of McGuyver, then you improvise.

Now now, this idea isn't by no means mine, however, I plan to take it onnne step further. Here (http://docfiles.blogspot.com/2006/08/macro-shots-with-dopod-838-part-2.html) is the original idea. Now here is mine:
To buy this shizz (http://www.target.com/Jobar-Deluxe-Magnifiers-Set-6/dp/B001G6XT6O/sr=1-2/qid=1237146313/ref=sr_1_2/185-2769178-1808622?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=0&index=target&rh=k%3Amagnifying%20glass&page=1), remove eachglass, and tape each glass together in order from the least magnification to the highest, which, if my take on physics serves me right, would give me 40x magnification. Now, here is where I am ignorant in photography like AIG CEO's are with common sense:

-Does more magnification = sharper image?

-What REALLY is a macro lens?

-And if more magnification doesn't mean getting a sharper image, then how did this (http://docfiles.blogspot.com/2006/08/macro-shots-with-dopod-838-part-2.html) work?
