I got my tonsils out and I'd really like to die. it hurts so bad. everything is just starting to scab over and I have a weeks worth of homework and five tests to catch up on. it's only like the fifth day after surgery. it feels like years!!! and I missed my bffs birthday party yesterday. ): has anyone gotten theirs out? how fast did you bounce back and how old were you? I've gotten my adinoids(sp?) out already a few years back but theywerent as bad as this! btw I'm 15.

Well, my grandmother got hers out when she was a kid. She said it hurt badly after the first 7 days of surgery, then the pain slowly went away.

haha, two more days will feel like ten more years. and the most annoying part is I have to drink everything with a straw. lol. and this morning it took me 30 minutes to eat a bagel!

Usually they ont recomend eating stuff wit ha straw, they makes you eat toast and so on to clean the area they've worked on. also to scrape.

well like I mean drinking with straws. yeah I eat normal foods, but they all make me feel sick. like now, I just ate some ice cream and now I'm trying not to barf. haha.

Just be strong! Alot of peope, go through alot worse than you're going through now. If they can do it, so can you! Their's not really much you cna do to stop the pain. Just perservere!

I got mine out and suprisingly one grew back, i didnt know that could happen but it had to be taken out again.
so the only advice i have for you,since i experienced it twice is ice-cream and painkillers oh and chilled drinks! HEAVEN :D
