no it cant be traced back to ur parents unless it was serious in nature ie child images etc. the only way YOUR parentS could trace what you've been looking up is through 'history' on ur PC.

sorry but I think thats a really bad and misleading answer.

Just about everything we look at on the web is logged and could, in theory, be traced back. In reality no country's police have the resources to keep track of everything so they target extremes like kiddy porn or snuff movies. So if you stick to legal web sites, doesn't matter if its porn if all the participants are over 18, no one in authority give a fuck.

On the other hand, if you look at anything illegal, you're taking a risk. If you're using a shared computer then you could get your parents into serious trouble if you get caught. Your dad would probably be regarded as the chief suspect and would have to prove his innocence. Dont look at anything illegal and dont abuse shared facilities because thats not fair on other people

Yes definitely. Personally I wouldnt regard anyone as in anyway kinky, strange or pedo for being interested in other people of their own, or very near to their own, age. But legally don't even attempt to look at anything on the web unless images/vids/whatever are of over 18's

that is a good answer and as far as you looking at porn of people your own age yes it is still considered that and you can get in trouble. I would avoid try to look up stuff you age because if you find some and get into it you could get in some big trouble.

Good answer.
It's extremely unlikely the police would waste their time tracing regular porn, especially since it's impossible to prove that *you* (being the one under 18 that makes it illegal) were watching it. It could have been a friend, a parent, a sibling, a hobo that broke into your house.
That theory applies to kiddy porn too, but since it's illegal for everyone, including your parents, someone would be arrested.

And yes, anyone under 18 [Or under 21 in some places] on porn is illegal.
So I assume your age is illegal.

I know this thread is considered old and will be locked but i wanted to clear something up about a post i responded to. Firstly, i know it sounded like i inferred that the individual who started this post looked up inappropriate pics.

The point i meant to get across was that the only way police or other relevant authorities would find out about anything suspect on a comp. is if it were child images. In no way did i mean to imply that the poster was/would be looking at that sort of content. I think others who responded understood, but others not and quickly jumped to conclusions

Simply pigeonholing a father and automatically assuming he would be a perpetrator is very narrow minded thinking, maybe even statistically correct but i guess my point is, don't criticise others opinions when posting.
