Hi. I am a 17 year old guy wondering usually how far into a vagina a penis has to go before it breaks the hymen.

I hear the hymen isnt that far in the vagina, from the outside. The average penis would break the hymen for sure, even a 'small' penis probebly would. BUT its best for the Female to break it Herself sometime before sex (a few days/weeks) so She can control it all and do whats best for Her insted of getting somebody else like Yourself to do it which will hurt Her.

Yes, you do not have to go in far at all. Most girls end up breaking the hymen before sex, sometimes from regular activities like bike-riding etc. Nothing to worry about frankly.
