Serious - found lump on chest?!

Hey, i was noticing that i had a bone like thingy sticking out below my 'moobs' as in , on the right side there is a bone like thing almost 'pointing' out but on the other side its just soft. i am slightly overweight but worried. can males get breast cancer?

waht would a bone be doing sticking out or sticking towrads the nipple? only one one breast?

should i get myself checked out? i've done the symtom checker tingy and it says it might be a cyst but it doesnt hurt, although it could be infected or sumit.. :|

Also, when examinig closely, its like a pea sizxzed lump.

Pea sized, hard lump. Sounds like cellulite, But cellulite would then be symmetrical, thus, we are not medical doctors, therefore, you need to see a doctor if you have serious concerns.

is this cuz i'm over weight? becasue it wouldnt appear in one would it? and i dont really wana go to the doctors. i've been several times this month.

Wavey, I know you worry a lot.

You have ribs under your chest, and towards the ends, they can protrude. That protrusion can be hard, and if you feel it, it is clearly attached to the rib. It is in most probablity just the end of the rib. It's hard b/c it's bone.

The body is not perfectly symmetrical, so just b/c you have something on one side doesn't mean you have the exact thing on the other, so it's not alarming that you'd feel it only on one side.

It is not breast cancer, guys can get that, but not during adolescence.
Next time you're at the docs, show him. If it bothers you a lot before then, tell your dad and let him take a look.

i suggest going to the docter..like people said its not commen to get it so young ..but still possible
