Hi people im 15 and i have noticed something probably completely normal and harmless on the shaft on my penis. It has been there from about 13 the time my penis began to curve. Its a really hard lump underneath the sking that covers the whole width. There is nothing soft about it. When I get an erection the hard lump goes away it does not effect my ejaculation or anything of that matter.
Please write back an over concerened matt.

It is hard to tell with out actually seeing what you are talking about. You can't post any pictures of your penis on here and we can't ask you to post any pictures w either. The best thing to do is go see your doctor and have him/her check it out and make sure you are OK.

I wish you luck in this manner.

On the surface my guess is what you have must not be bad especially since it is not affecting your genitourinary functions. However, as mentioned by Rob you really should have it checked out as a precaution as none of us can say with certainty what you have without seeing it. A penile exam is really not a big deal at all, and if anything, your doctor will give you credit for being proactive about your health. Of course, you can start with your school nurse if your school has one. As for telling your parents to take you to the doctor, just tell them you have a lump that needs to be checked out. If your parents ask to see it, then simply say you prefer to talk with the doctor. Also, you can say that you have trouble going to the bathroom as that will get you into the doctor's office with no problem at all. Once you are in the exam room alone, then talk about your problem with the nurse and doctor.

yeah ok thanks for the advise. I searched the net and found out it coulf br a syst which is absolutely nothing. And it fits the description been there for so long i cant remember no pain. Doesnt stick out completely hidden and no disfunctions. If it begins to get worse or anything of the matter I will go see a doctor.
