hey mate, i don't think it's necessary to tell your dad. I'd say he's realised that you have hit puberty and therefore i think he'll know you masturbate. remember, he's been there before so he knows what teenage boys do.

Masturbation is a private thing. You choose who you want to include in it, wether it be mutual masturbation or just telling people you do. You don't have to tell anyone about it if you don't want to.

I wouldn't bother telling my Dad because I'm sure he already knows (either from experience or just knowing that that's what guys who have hit puberty do) your dad was a teenager once too so he'll know what goes through teenage boys' minds :D

It seems like you and your Father are really close, and if that is the case, then I suppose you can ask him questions about puberty as opposed to coming right out and telling him that you masturbate. After all, your Father is your best resource for puberty-related questions, and he ideally should be your primary go-to person.

To answer your question directly, I would not necessarily tell your Father that you masturbate, but if you have questions about it, then it is all right to ask him. I seriously doubt your Father would get upset at you for your masturbating as nearly all guys do so, and when your Father was your age he surely masturbated. Especially if you and your Father have a good relationship your asking him puberty questions will probably only make your relationship with him stronger than it is before as it shows that you trust him with anything.

I agree. There's no reason to just tell him you masturbate.
If you have questions about puberty, and you feel comfortable talking to your dad about that stuff, then that's great. If somehow he finds out, or you mention masturbating during one of your discussions, then that's ok. He probably figures you do anyway.

Don't tell him. He probably already assumes you do it, and if he catches you, he will just let it drop and won't think any less of you (unless ur family is strict Christian etc.). If you have questions, ask them, but there is no need to just tell him for the sake of telling him.

Your dad would of proberly done it when he was a teenager. What ever feels right to you. He would proberly be lost for words at first, but be understanding in the end. It all comes to what you think in the end.
