Okay, for school work I needed to create any piece of art and adapt it into something dark and creepyish. It's me in the picture btw.

So I've already started it off, but I'm unsure what to add to it.
Maybe make it into a collage? Add some bloodstains on it? Brighten it? Darken it? Anything?

Or shall I just leave it as it is?

All opinions welcome :)

I think its pretty awesome the way it is, but if other people think you should add something, I won't disagree with them. ;)

You look pretty amazing in that pic Marcie. :P

Its wondeful and if its a picture of you, your very beautiful. Now, if I were you; I'd brighten it a bit, just to show the color in your eyes.

add color to your eyes. It's not balanced, the colors are on the bottom and left.

Marcie, I have to admit, I disagree with most on your eyes. I like them the way they are in that pic. :)

hmm i agree with making the eyes lighter. or changing them entirely. like making them entirely black? or red? or white?

Maybe give yourself an aura, like crimson?

Cloud

ooh crimson aura sounds good

Actually, I delibrately made my eyes dark.

you don't have to make them blue

you could go an unnatural color

I still hold that Marcie ish very prettyful in that picture. :P

...And that nothing really needs to be done to make it better. ;)

What about black and white?

ShatteredWings
March 10th, 2009, 07:54 PM
Hm, VT ate the post...

I still say there needs to be eyecolor, but you don' thave to turn it to your natural color, you could make it purple, or red.
(thoes colors sugested because they're the colors you have in your pic)

Hmm, I'm just wondering why everyone thinks she needs color added to her eyes... The picture, in my eyes, seems perfect. Some may think the focus of color in the lower left is distracting, but I like it that way. Her eyes look fitting and I think adding certain colors/too much color will throw it off... But that's just my two cents... 0.o

I like the fact that your eyes are dark, they seem mysterious.....I'm thinking the overall goal of making it dark and creepy was achieved very nicely Marcie, good job! :)

Possibly bring the brightness down a bit and put the contrast up, as other people have said adding some more colour to the eyes would make it look even better

Amazing picture though :)

beautiful shot and beautiful model selection (:P), she is very beautiful,

i think you should see how the eyes look after colouring then, if u like them, keep them, if not, dont.

Model selection? That's not a model, that's me in the picture :P haha.

I've tried making it black and white but it makes the picture look really plain.
I wasn't necessarily thinking of changing the eyes to my natural color, I was thinking blood red or scarlet red or something like that. I still want to keep the mysterious look in the eyes :)

I agree with Adam when he says that the color in the eyes will probably make it look too much.

hhmmm, i still dont think you should pass up the coloured eyes without seeing them...might look totally awesome...but...it is totally ur choice.

lol, i know it is you in the pic, thats y i bothered saying that thing about a certain someone in the pic being exceedingly beautiful.

So last week I experimented with different colours, these are the ones turned out okay...

Which color is best?
Top left = Blood red
Top right = Blue
Bottom left = Green
Bottom right = Bright pink

i like the blue and the green the most. they seem to stand out without taking focus away from anything else and there very dark colours so its a suttle difference that makes it look better imo

personally, i love the green one - it draws the viewer in without detracting from the rest of the piece - but still, they all rock, i LOVE this piece :D

i lovr the green one and the bright pink ( though this one focus a little too much in the eye color)

I don't have a preference, except blue is the best one out of all, but I'd like to point out that when you've adjusted the colour that it's also affecting a bit of the hair where the light is, just in case you were unaware.

I know it has, the color's even gone on to my eyelids, I couldn't help that though because everytime you apply color to something that reflects like eyes, it leaks onto other objects in the photo.

I personally think it looks cool.

easiest, make a pop art (repeat the image more) and gradually distort it… or randomly distort it… it would be weird
kindda creepy if you use dark tints

I think the blue looks really pretty, It brings the attention to your eyes.
But if you dont want too much attention to the eye then the red/green is best.

What about putting streaks in your hair (digitally). like pink or blue or something?
