Basically, from what I can gather, 'frot' is basically sex between two gay people.

Frot (French frotter, to rub) is male-male non-penetrative sex, where male partners engage in the rubbing of erect penis on erect penis, typically while in full-frontal embrace.

Well according to Wikipedia's/Rex's definition, it's sex.
But sex can be experimental as well, so it could be both.

Sex between two men can be hard to define, but it is the touching of sexual organs between two people, which results in pleasure... so correctness aside, it's pretty much sex.

It's not sex, it's (as answer number 2 said) the rubbing of two guys penis'. If you search it on wikipedia there's a better explanation and a few pictures

Got to admit, I'd never heard of it. Live & learn! From the description above its definitely a sexual activity but not "sex". Sorry if thats confusing. I mean if you rubbed dicks with another guy I'd say you had indulged in a sexual activity but I wouldn't say you'd had sex with him. For me one guys dick has to enter the other guy's arse before I'd say they'd had sex.

This should explain ... Penetration does not equal sex.

It's true of course that for sex between a man and woman to be procreative, the man must enter the woman.

But he enters the woman through contact with her erectile tissues, tissues which are designed to pleasurably lead his cock into her vagina while giving her maximum pleasure.

So it's not penetration or even procreation which makes the act sexual in a human sense.

If procreative penetration were all that was needed, a man could impregnate a woman through getting some sperm from a pouch on his body, and placing it with his finger inside a pouch on hers.

Or like some insects, he could simply leave a spermatophore, a container of sperm, in a place where she could find it, and she could then put the sperm in her womb.

Human beings aren't made that way.

Rather, we're designed to enjoy sex, and to experience sex as the highest and most intense form of pleasure.

umm... what lupe?
sorry i could not follow your logic there.
... so you're trying to say that people rubbing their genitals together is "sex" because its pleasurable?
thats like saying a girl using a vibrator is sex ... which it ain't .. its masturbation with a toy.

while this frot thing may indeed be an "act sexual in a human sense" .. its not sex, its foreplay.

p.s. where do you guys get these words from? ive never heard of frot before, i guess you do learn something new everyday hahaha. ive always called it "dry sex"
