So I've got a few VIDEO_TS folders with some stuff I've been wanting to burn to DVD for a while.

I've been wondering on how to burn these files. Most of the time, I have files in this order: VTS_01_00, VTS_01_01, VTS_01_02.

Do I burn them by the last number in the files? (i.e after the "_01_")
What do these files contain other than videos? Also, what are the .BUP and .IFO files for? I have just installed a DVD burner to my computer just to let you know.

To burn it, just drag the ENTIRE VIDEO_TS folder onto your DVD. (So when you pull up your DVD in Windows Explorer, you get '%dvdroot%\VIDEO_TS\'

So like this:

The .BUP & .IFO files are the files containing info on what the VTS_0* files contain. Just so your DVD player knows what video is where on the DVD itself.

instead of doing that, you could easily install a small app called
IMGBURN

This provides everything you need to burn a disk eg the VIDEO and SOUND TS's most dvd players will not run correctly if they do not have a audio / sound.TS folder .
