Hi,
When I Was Young I Thought About Suicide A Few Times And Self Harmed, Due To Family Issues, And Eventually Stopped, Recently I Have Had A Bad Experiance In My Life And Have Started Self Harming Again (Burning And Cutting).I Have A Mild Case Of OCD And This Self Harming Doesnt Really Help That,
Me And My Ex Are Still Frinds And I Have Told Her About My Problems, And She Says She Will Call The Police If I Do It Again... But That Just Infuriates Me More. And I Dont Do This Because Of That, I Have A Lot Of Issues To Deal With Like The Rest Of You Do.
I Need Advice... Please Help ---

This might be better served as a thread. First Time Cutting  Cutting and Self Harm.

I think your friend is just scared for you and is just trying to help. If you can't confide in her, then don't mention it again. Cutting may give you a self of release, but we all know what the after math feels like. I'm sure you don't want to feel that way, so you should do what's best for yourself and get help. No one can help you unless you let them to. You can't stop cutting, and start feeling better, unless you allow yourself to.
Since I stopped cutting, I've always believed it's just a matter of self control and who i want to be and who i don't want to be. Every time I've been tempted to cut, at first i gave in many times, and regretted it every time. Now, i would feel disgusted of even the thought of doing that to myself again.
I just don't feel like it's worth it anymore, feeling worse than I did before I gave in.
Try to see it from every angle, try to rationalize your feelings..

If your friend calls the police, its because they care. Police can help you. Well, not the cops, but they can get you help. Talk to your parents, nurse, counselor, whatever to get help.

I highly suggest you read through this (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=38277)and think about it all because it can really help you in the long run. It will seem scarey, seem hard, and it will be, but if you want to stop it, you can.

People get frightened when they hear others (esp. loved ones) are hurting themselves, and they don't really know what to do.

Both you and she recognize there's something wrong here, maybe you can work together to get you the support you need to get to a doctor who can help you address this and find better ways of dealing with all that stress. Work with her, see her as a resource, sometimes it's easier to do things with the help of a friend.
