Web Browser help!

Okay, when we click to open our firefox icon to open it, it opens but then it suddenly crashs (quites) on us. Do any of you know whats going on? Oh ya it happened with our safari web browser.

Ya but its so out of date........ we haven't upgraded it in years.

If your on a PC check your processes.... Press CTRL+ALT+Delete when tring to open fire fox and see what else is taking up your processor in big a amounts and end it if it looks like a virus..

If he's having programs crash on him for no reason (Especially if it's only web browsers), then he HAS a virus. No doubt about it.

Nihilus, if you already have a security suite, remove it or disable it because it's obviously not doing a good job. Then go to http://www.free.avg.com/ and download & install the free version of AVG. Once installed, tell it do do a FULL SYSTEM SCAN on your system. If it finds ANYTHING, have it deleted.

If Firefox/Safari/Opera/Internet Explorer still won't work. Un-install them, then re-install.

Oh okay, I'll try.... and I am on a old mac.

Anyone else have anything that will help? I am using a mac if that would help.

Get Google Chrome, it's so much better than anything else.
