i need a girlfriend

as you may notice when you read this, the title is irrelevent to the thread, i couldn't think of a decent title. anyways, my question is in 2 parts and goes like this, oh, and i especially want girls to answer this. what would your expectations be from your boyfriend as far as gifts and celebrating a 1 year anniversary together? and if you are a guy, what have you done for your girl to celebrate a tear? now this weekend is a year for my girlfriend and me. my sister helped me to pick out a necklace for her, she is also getting flowers and i have made a card and written something for her too. i have nothing planned really apart from that because i've been sick and i feel bad about that but yeah, what do you think?

awww i got a necklace for my one year anniversary with my ex XD..
personally, it is not what i expect to receive, it is about how special and how much thought he put into it.

me and my ex used to give each other cheap things that had a greater emotional value.
give meaning to your presents, :)

thanks paula. i try to do things like that. i put a lot of thought into what i get, or in some cases, what i make her. like, i write her things a lot and stuff and i make her stuff, which for someone who isn't good at that sor of thing, is something big for me lol. but yeah, thanks for your response paula.

It depends on what kind of relationship it is. If it's the serious, committed relationship then give her the necklace/card, and go out to dinner and such. If it's more of a fun relationship, then go do something fun! What do you think she'd prefer doing? That's the question you have to ask yourself.
