I'm gay and getting depressed

Ok I've been fired from multiple jobs because I'm gay. On application it asks for sexuality I say gay. I'm not going to lie but it's really got me down. Is it possible to file lawsuits about this sort of thing? My life is getting worst

Uhm, YES!
It's illegal to fire you explicitly because you are gay. Although they could theoretically chalk it up to something else.
So it may be a time waster, or it could come with a benefit.

Yes, well, there will always be people in the world trying to bring you down, because you are gay. To me, from what I've seen, you seem proud of being gay, which is wonderful. Not as many are that lucky, to be happy with themselves regardless of how they feel.

Alec, it's not legal for anyone to ask you about yuor sexuality on a job app. If it's there, you can either choose to not submit the application, or leave the q blank. Your orientation has no bearing on your qualifications for any employment, it's a private, personal matter.

As you go thru life, you'll learn that there are certain things which are private and to be shared only with close, safe people, and others aren't entitled to that priviledge. This isn't a gay issue, btw, everyone should be mindful of when it's good to reaveal anything personal to others.

Your self esteem is based on things other than your sexuality, it's really only a part of who you are. Focus on those other parts, work on making them the best they can be, then share them with the world. In return, you'll get the acknowlegement you need, which will foster good self esteem, and save that 'private' part for the special people who have earned it. Don't wear it on your sleeve so much.

Im gay and the owners/managers didnt know at furst and its a christian company they know now and we are very close and dont mind it
