For starters take ^there^ advice on the cup idea but if i were you i would go to the doctor you may have a urinary tract infection or kidney infection. But to be safe wear protection.
For a UTI here is some help http://www.thriftyfun.com/tf91565402.tip.html (read the whole page)

I've actually had to get a spinal surgery for a similar thing. The feeling of peeing but never going so multiple trips to the bathroom. They cut 2 interwired nerve and it was called thethered cord. It sent false messages to the brain.

Well, 2 thoughts. First, if you've had some kind of neurological condition that required surgery in the past, this might be related to the condition, esp. since the symptom is so similiar. You might want to ask your doctor about it.
Second, is that getting hit by a lacrosse ball is a very painful experience. The body releases adrenaline in response to pain, it's the way it energizes it self for a quick get away to protect you. One of the efffects of that sudden burst of adrenaline is a sense of needing to urinate, it's why you hear about people 'pissing in their pants' when they're so sacred, it's the same thing: An effect of the adrenaline. You might be one of those people vulnerable or sensitive to the adrenaline rush that occurs when you're in sudden, intense pain (like gettinng hit by the ball), and maybe it's compounded by *whatever* the neurological condition you've got.
