I was restricting my food and fasting for quite some time. Well, I just recently started eating normal. And I feel sick and run down all the time. I know this may sounf weird, but I felt better when I was engaged in my eating disorder. Like, all I ate was a normal portion of pasta, and i feel so sick. Whats happening with me? I feel sick and run down everytime I eat.

Your body isn't used to food.
It will take some time to readjust to proper nutrition. Until then, eat small quantities of easily digestible food, gradually increasing portion sizes and variety to what they once were.
I'm assuming your family knows about your ED and that you're under a doctors's care. If not, I'd strongly recommend this, as your description here indicates whatever you were doing was pretty severe and resulted in some metabolic changes which should be assessed and monitored by an MD and perhaps a nutritionist, too.

Yeah, unfortunatlly this happens.
Doesn't really matter how long you've been at this, if it's long enough to cause you to realize you need help, you've probably already done some damage.
When you don't eat, your stomach stops producing stomach acid to digest food. It's smart like that, why make something that isn't being used?
Also explains why after a few weeks you don't feel hungery much anymore
Still with me?
Well, you're trying to eat.
Your body isn't prepaired for food
It has nothing to digest the food with, so it's almost a weight on you until you produce more stomach acid (dunno how long that takes sorries). I guess the food is almost like a foregin body in you.. and because we're 'smart' like that, you'll reject the 'contamination' -- or get sick.
It will get easier, i promice.
but you have to find a way to get some help.
it's really really hard, maybe impossiable (not sure) to get out of this cycle without any support.
Don't allow yourself to slip back
:)

longwinded sorry
