She's obviously getting help - and you should wait until she's in a stable condition to contact her.

You're missing your chica, and that's understandable! She obviously means a lot to you, you're a good friend.

But, part of being a good friend is being aware that soemtimes friends have needs that even besties cannot meet, and such is the case now. Be thankful that she is in a place with good, qualified professionals who can (hopefully) make her happy again and appreciate all life has to offer. That way, when she's discharged from that hospital, she'll be in a much better place to be happy, and enjoy YOU! (amongst other things).

Plan a big party for her return.

I'm really sorry to hear that and evidently this is upsetting.

She's getting the help she needs and she'll be home before you know it. She needs to go to the psych ward to recover overwise things could just get worse.

When she's home, everything will be so great! She'll be feeling better and you'll be happy to see her. If you're annoyed about not seeing her on her birthday then maybe give her a late birthday treat for when she returns home? Or plan a surprise party. Something like that, I'm sure she will love it.

Just be patient, and stay strong :) :hug:

I can't believe that you don't even get to see her on her birthday. I'm so sorry, hun. I'm still trying to figure out why everyone says the same exact thing on these forums. But, thanks for posting this. I was about to cut, but I read this and I thought of my boyfriend and *tears* I just... I just can't. Thank you.

shes getting help.. u shud be happy.. would u rather miss 1 of her birthdays than all of them bcuz she kills herself? harsh ino. but true.
