Finding out sombodys port

What i am asking is that if i already know sombodys ip adress how can i find out An open port on sombodys computer, ether by getting on the computer or by connecting to it via a trojan.

you do a port scan

use google and search for nmap

Traceroutes are always good tools... You could just ask the person what ports they have open :wave:

First do any of u know a good app for accesing sombodys comp after you know one of their open ports and ip i also would like to know what would to html coad look like that you would put on a website in order to make it so a user loads a certan file when they go to the website

Uh...correct me if im wrong but the only reason someone would want to know about another persons open ports is to hack that person...why are you all basicly telling him how to hack another computer?

Agreed. Finding an open port has nothing to do with hacking, although hacking servers usually requires finding an open port. Nonetheless, everyone should understand that hacking is not a bad thing. It's stereotypical to think that computer problems are caused by hackers. :|
