What was the problem?

A few years ago, when I was in 6th grade, it took me an hour in order to achieve orgasm and ejaculation when I masturbated. After that, my penis got unusually fat when it got unerected. After that time, though, everything's went normal when I did that. I'm just wondering, was this a problem, and has anyone else had it happen to them?

Another thing to add: This was the first time I masturbated by hand, as all previous times I masturbated, I did so with a shower jet (I "didn't know how to" masturbate by hand)

One of the explanations that I see most likely here is that, with the constant blood flow to your penis for around an hour, after you orgasmed and your penis became un-erect, the blood just took longer to go back to its normal flow, thus leaving your penis in a slightly more puffy state than normal.

The other is that simply the extended period of masturbation irritated the penis enough that it started swelling, and that was the problem. Periods of irritation can cause skin anywhere to be a little puffy.

This only happened once, but for that one time it did happen, it lasted for several hours.

The penis is loke a sponge, there are tiny pockets in the tissue that act as little balloons which fill up with blood, causing erection. My bet would be that over an extended period of an hour, those tissues got a lot of blood, puffed out, and even after you were finished and the erection subsided, there was enough blood left pooling in there to keep your penis puffy.

This sounds pretty normal, regardless if you use your hand or the water jet.

I thought the penis was made up of 3 "tubes" which fill up with blood

Ur penis probably just wasn't used to being stimulated by hand. This is probably normal, but it never happened to me.

that has happened to me, and it is nothing to worry about, it is just the erection "receding" back into the body, and because your body was not used to being aroused that much, it took some time for the erection to completly go away
