BALTIMORE (AP) - Police said a 58-year-old man stabbed his teenage son after he refused to take off his hat at church earlier in the day. The father and his 19-year-old son got into an argument on Sunday afternoon. That's when police said the father went to a car, got a knife and stabbed his son in the left buttock and fled.
The son was taken to University of Maryland Medical Center for treatment. The father's name was withheld pending his arrest.

It's not a sin, it's a sign of respect for when you're inside the church. I do it all the time when I go. I blame both of them. The father is half at fault because he took measures beyond where they needed to be. He didn't have to stab his son because he didn't listen.
The man's son should have known better. It's a sign of respect to take off hats in a Catholic church. He should have listened to his father. Remember the 4th commandement: Honor thy father and thy mother. Read up on your catechism man!

This is the kind of parenting we need in the world!
Seriously, if he would have listened, he wouldn't have been stabbed. And I am sure they were probably religious so he knew that he wasn't supposed to have a hat. He was probably just being defiant and deserved it. Bad ass kids. lol

How would you like it if you were stabbed for doing something like that? That is not at all good parenting. Something is wrong with you when you create a child and STAB him/her. I can understand spanking but stabbing, that's just wrong. If that kid would have moved wrong then the dad could have seriously injured him or killed him. No one deserves being stabbed, EVER. You are only 16. Your dad or mom can still punish you. According to you it would be ok for your mom or dad to stab you, with a knife.
