I think I might have missed something about the flying carpet here....well if you want to masturbate with your friend, then do it. If he was the one who suggested it in the first place then its not like he is going to mind.
On the other hand is it really sich a good thing to do? What benefit will it give you apart from a quick bit of sexual gratification. You run all sorts of risks of being found out (whihc I am assuming you don't want) and what if he IS gay and develops feelings for you that you can't return.
