Is it normal for your height to vary?

Well this week I went to the doctor and I got measured and he measured me at around 6'7" but a few months prior he measured me at 6'8" tall.

How is it possible to get shorter?

I had my shoes off for both times so shoes aren't the issue.

same thing happened to me last year i was 5'4 1/2 then when i went to the doctors again during the summer i was measured 5'4 with no half but now im 5'6 but its cause sometimes they dont measure real good

Yeah well this was the same doctor and same height measuring thing.

was it at different times of day?Sort of, I normally have afternoon appointments at around 4pm to 6pm depending on when there is a booking available.

bacuase as the day goes on gravity acts on ur body so pulls u down which could alter ur height by quite a bit so it may be that.
if u sit or stand up in the day ull go to bed shorter than wehn u got up

Also factor in human error, he could of just marked it wrong for one of them...also you may not have been standing as straight as you were the other time
