A 15-year-old schoolgirl who was working as a high class prostitute in England earned a staggering $200,000 in one year.

The girl, who cannot be identified, worked for an upscale escort agency in Newcastle and lied about her age to get hired.

During the day, the teenage girl would attend classes at school, but at night she would earn thousands of dollars by meeting men on school nights and at the weekend.

Her double life was exposed by a teacher at the school who found condoms and details of the escort agency in her schoolbag.

Police later searched the girl's home and found nearly $20,000 in cash in the loft.

"The money was seized after police received a phone call from a school where a teacher found a pupil's bag," Asa Anderson, from Northumbria Police, told a UK court.

Her parents were originally suspected of forcing the girl into child prostitution, but were later released without charge.

The girl is believed to have come to the UK from Eastern Europe a few years ago.

They try to 'blame the parents' because normally it is there fault, and it's easier to charge them than a 15 year old girl, laws are a bit restricting on what they can give her as a sentence.

Most of the time anyway. Maybe not in this case. But parents attitudes etc do and can reflect on their children's own attitudes.

But in this case, I'd say the girl's got something wrong with her in the head.

I fail to see how teenagers actions can be deemed the responsibility of their parents. Unless the parents are encouraging it in some way (e.g. allowing them to share a bed with members of the opposite sex etc.) then I fail to see how they are responsible or "to blame".

Yay I flippin agree! Its about time people get their heads out of their assholes and stop treating teenagers like they shouldn't be held accountable for any of their actions..

It can definately be the parents fault, but really any unhealthy major trend in society is a problem with society as a whole.

Why she worked as a prostitute we'll never know.. But if she really wasn't forced I can think of only a few not so pretty options mostly centered around her wanting money

roughly 281 000 dollars a month. Any way. It is plausable for somebody to say that they allways blame the parents, this is because the people who do blame the parents, are adults. British law enforcement requires you to look upon every possible cause, such as the parent forcing them to. So parents are best to blame FIRST. Finally, let it all out.
