No... not the golden arches :P
Erica is wonderful!
(My new therapist)
Only 3 sessions and it's really making all the difference = ]
I feel like she genuinely cares and understands,
And she doesn't try the whole digging into my subconscious crap,
She's more into keeping track of moods,
Things I do to help the highs and lows,
Marking the severity of the symptoms,
Helping me come up with solutions,
Stresses the importance of a schedule to help regulate,
And she keeps the sessions consistent.
Of course she does specialize in Bipolar Disorder in Adolescents,
Which is why I picked her out in the first place,
But she's also energetic yet calming,
And can help me to pull out what I'm trying to say.
Today we worked on my paranoia and hallucinating,
What it feels like physically and emotionally when it goes on,
And coping methods for it.
I don't want to speak too soon,
But all seems well!
This is the most stable I've felt in over a year!
