ive got a couple questions

first off, i wanna say sorry to mods, because its similar to my other posts and may not be in the right area, but you can delete the other one if you see fit.

i keep having homosexual thoughts, and they are unwanted. i dont get aroused by them, but they dont bug me or discust me. i have never got an errection during these thoughts, what does this mean?

women always have attracted me, and aroused me completly, and recently dont do a thing for me anymore.

also, i have been smoking weed since about july or august alot, and stopped about two weeks ago, and started to have these thoughts soon after stopping. is it possible im having minor withdrawals(weeds not addictiv, but habit forming) and it killed my sex drive, which gave me the idea that i wasnt attracted to women anymore?

again, im sorry for the posting, but i find it a different topic since i remember the marijuana thing.

i also looked at straight porn, it gave me a warm feeling, i had to really try for an erection, and gay porn, with no feeling at all, no discust either.

please let me know if any of this happened to you, or if i should wait another month to see what happens. it feels as if every day i am more attracted to girls again, but i dont know if im just lieing to myself to hide the fact that im gay. thanks again, and sorry mods!!!!!!

I don't know about the pot side effect thing, but your age would really be helpful here.

Based on what you've told me, I definitely don't think you're gay. Possibly bi, but again, I doubt it. If you're anywhere from 12-16, it's probably a phase. It happens. A lot of guys, and girls too, get curious about the same sex during this phase in puberty.

The fact that they're unwanted shows me that you are straight. So, don't worry about it too much.

That's a little old to be a phase, but you said they're unwanted. The fact that you don't want to be gay shows me you aren't.

Well it seems from people on here that there are two parts of life where weird sexual thoughts enter one's mind. First, at the beginning of puberty (11-13), this is often showing of the person's true sexuality. The second phase happens at around your age, and seems to cause a lot of people a lot of stress and can make them depressed because it's unwanted and random.

But be aware that straight people can get thoughts about anything. If it's you go to work and see a guy and imagine 'ooh I want him' it could be something about you you didn't know, or it could be just random thoughts that anyone else could have. Its causing you discomfort because it really seems pointless.

I haven't mentioned weed, because it's completely unrelated. You'd have to smoke it a lot more to change your mind, even then it never affects sexuality.

Once you've passed puberty, and you know what you do and don't like, it's going to stay that way. But at your age the hormones still flare up every now and then, and it's probably your sex drive kicking back in a bit too much, causing you to find a lot more things a turn on.
