I gave my boyfriend oral sex.
and he's had sex about 3 times.
and i'm kind of afriad i might have an STD.
"down there" has been burning, and i was really sick for about 5 days.
I'm not sure if thats a symptom or not ?
by the way, im sorry if this should go into another category.

If its burning down there, yet you had no sexual contact down there since you had only oral sex, unless you neglected to mention vaginal sex, then you should be okay. It very well could be a coincidence. If you are burning down there, its usually a sign of an STD, but if you only performed oral sex, the signals would be in your mouth and lips region, not the vagina.
Care to elaborate on what kind of symptoms you had when you were "sick"?

it could be a yeast infection the burning you are feeling.
go get checked, thats the only way to make sure.

There's an STD/STI guide which ironically Vindication typed and I tried to improve upon in the VT Hosptial forum, check that out to see if any of the symptoms you experienced match up.

Oral sex = no STD.
Still, get tested.

Ummm what are you thinking? Oral sex can = herpes, hepatits b, chlamydia, and many more!
If something more noticable or strange develops, get tested. Otherwise just keep a close eye on it.

Actually that's quite incorrect.
Many- most -STD/Is can be transferred through oral sex, including herpes, AIDS, hepatitis, etc.

i dont think that would be a sti. because if you just gave him oral then you would be affected in the mouth area! it sounds like a yeast infection which is easily cured by a oral pill or .. a not so oral pill lol

There is a slim chance that you got an STD, especially only if you gave him oral sex since the symptoms would be in your mouth (like the others said). But just to be safe you should get it checked out by your doctor. Just to be sure, because you don't want to leave these things to chance incase it gets worse. Also see if you have a yeast infection or thrush etc...its good to be certain and not let things get out of hand :)

Sounds like some yummy genital herpes!
And if ''it'' is burning and itching.. Then you need to go get tested anyway..

I wrote that on feb 25th and now it's march 9th and it's still burning. It's been bugging me all day today. I can't get tested by a doctor because that means I would need to tell my parents. And I can't do that. I also keep getting the feeling that i need to pee, but once i try to i can't. And when I do go pee (this is going to be a little gross, and i'm sorry but i'm really worried) it smells and then it feels like i still need to pee.
Please tell me what I can do WITHOUT telling my parents.I'm only 14.

You have to get to the doctor. We can't diagnose you over the internet. Your safest bet is to tell your parents that you are sick and need to go to the doctor. Take responsibility and go, regardless of how afraid you are.

If you're only 14, you probably shouldn't have been having sex in the first place.

Definitely go to the doctor. Any symptoms you experience are a cause to visit a doctor to get a diagnosis and the proper treatment.
Seeing as you haven't had sex before it is not very likely that you are infected with a STD. By the sounds of it you are more likely to have a urinary tract infection (UTI) which is common (nearly every woman gets them) and treated with anti-biotics. UTI's have symptoms which include feeling as if you need to go to the loo a lot more frequently than usual, burning sensations when you pee and sometimes the pee has a foul smell.
I hope you book yourself in for an appointment!

Another point-
Seeing as you feel it when you pee etc, it doesn't have to be quite so embarrassing.
Just tell your parents it kind of burns when you pee, and you'd like to see a doctor.

Where I live there is a family planning center that does private testing for teens. They can't tell your parents without your consent and it's usually free or really cheap. I don't know if they have one where you are but you could look in your phonebook.

As I read your post, if you and your boyfriend did not have any contact at all yet you feel that there is burning down there that may be a symptom of yeast infection. Go to your doctor so he can examine and diagnose it.
