Well, during puberty, your body is growing, so you are going to sometimes feel like you need more sleep, and normally when that happens you should try to give your body what it wants. If you continue to feel like this for a long time, then maybe something else is up, and you might want to entertain the possibility of seeing someone about it, but most likely it's nothing. It could possibly be that you're just growing, or that your body is fighting off a disease. Getting more rest is one of the body's ways of warding off things if you are starting to get sick, so look out that you don't overdo yourself.

Very precise timings i shouldgetmore sleep but anyway onto your problem. The changes in your body could be producing more of the thingyos that makeyou tired(forgot the name sorry) nad that could cause it or as rex saidit may be that your body is fighting off a disease.

Teens need more sleep b/c of all the metabolic changes that are going on, the growing and developing are energy intensive.

Typically, if you figure out your 'set point', the amount of sleep you need, should remain pretty much constant. If it changes a lot, then it's either the result of an increase in energy requirements (either internal, like growing, etc., or external, like additional schoolwork, sports, stress, etc.), OR you're coming down with some little nasty, which would affect your energy requirements, too.

If you need more sleep, take it. But, if that need lasts more than a few days, then you should see your doctor just to make sure it's not an illness.
