If this would be better suited to a different part of the forum, then can the Mods move it please?

I bought some Scar Reduction Gel the other day for SH scars on my wrist (it's called like FastAid Advanced Scar Reduction Gel), and I was wondering if anyone has ever had an experience with stuff like this?

I tried to use Bio-Oil but it had no effect on me, so I'm trying this in the hope that my scars fade a bit.

Does anyone know if gels like these work?

I haven't tried the one you are using but I get good results (only after long-term use mind) with Bio-Oil.

Hmmm I haven't used that but maybe I will try it.
Scar reduction stuff tends to not work for me though =/

I honestly don't know much about either of the gels you guys speak of. But, I have some information I found from a great site called Recover Your Life. Its a self harm, ED, abuse, etc. support forum and they have a great article section on first aid, product reviews, etc. for stuff like this.

Bio-Oil (http://www.recoveryourlife.com/index.php?categoryid=57&p2018_articleid=5)

Other scar removal products (http://www.recoveryourlife.com/index.php?categoryid=57)

The fact that you posted at 2 pm (my time) makes me think that you are from the UK,so most of these products will be readily available to you since RYL is UK based, the products are focused on UK

I used Neosporin scar patches once but they didn't work for me. My scars were as healed as they were ever going to get.

Oh yeah, my friend uses RYL. But I don't want to use it because I dunno whether it's just me or it's ALL focused on SH, and this website seems a bit more varied.

It is useful though, I gotta admit. Thanks for reminding me about it; there is actually a review on the gel I'm using on it there =]
