Right, so I need to create a partition on XP so I can install Ubuntu.
The only problem is, when I try disk management I only have 3GB of unallocated space and it wont let me increase it when I click create new partition. How can I split my C: drive and take like 10GB of it to create a new drive preferably without installing anything?

Help much appreciated : )
Thanks! : D

Paragon Partition Manager, it lets you do anything you want with your partitions. I advise you to back-up before altering partitions though, there's a change you can lose data.

How did it break your laptop? If you can still install Ubuntu then it can't be broken.
