At the bottom of the main forum page it says "Most users ever online was 217 on Sat Dec 10, 2005 12:44 pm"

wtf? how is that possible?

but i was later informed that they are not real people.

1st. Why the hell is this in debate, its more like spam or HQ really.
2nd. Matt*~ whats with the double post, oh and dont say you clicked it twice, because it would have blocked the second post if you did that, and they are a minute apart.

And yes, this should go in a different place, but I guess it's debatable :?

Anyway, those users were just some bots (robots) created from some program some guy used to spam the site for some reason. So, does that some it up? :P It was no more than a lamer wanting to mess with a forum.

u know it is possible cause there are 3 thousand and something members...but its unlikely cause half the users are nvr on

It's possible though the 3000+ members cause a misconception, as 1700+ of those members have 0 posts, and the other 600(?) members have 1 post, and out of the remaining members, only 30-100 are actually active on a day-week basis. That's my estimation anyway.
