I am a very small person, and I would really like to put a little more weight on my bones, but one of the problems is that I don't have the time to go to the gym, and I don't want to have my parents pay more money for activites when they're already straining. So what I need, is pretty much tips for workouts I can do in my house, using pretty minimal equipment (I do have hand weights) that will, over time, put more muscle/weight on me. It can be over an extended period of time, because I think I have the commitment for that, as I've been doing basic pushups, situps, runches, etc. for the last couple weeks, and know I can keep it up.

Anyway, yeah, thanks guys. Just need stuff that'll help me feel a little more comfortable with my body. ^_^

If you're not hiding that you're working out, you could get some workout videos that require little or no equipment.

In the end, it really comes down to money. Now, I'm a bit of a cheap miser, and I seriously don't want to put any strain on my parents' pockets, as I've said before.

I've tried google, but really it hasn't given me much that doesn't require a gym.

Rex, what muscle groups do you want to work on? What do you want to build up?

If you've got the weights and the time, then it should be pretty straigtforward coming up with a reasonable work out. Look online and see what you can find.

There are lots of different workouts which don't require any equipment you just need to find them. One thing I learned is try 50 pushups and situps each day. It won't come quick and won't make you huge but in a while you will be able to do them in a snap. Tell us what muscle groups you want to focus on and you'll get more help.

Oh yes.... I should have included that :P I guess really just want to work on my upper body. My leg muscles are fine... I'm a good runner... but yeah, my arms and chest/stomach.

Thanks.

If you're having trouble about prices, you could find a local gym and see if they have a discount for people at school, mine does.

WE ARE THE SAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm doing 50 pushups and 75 sit-ups a day, and it's working pretty well. As long as you stick to a usual work out plan, you can build and tone your body really well. I'll be like your work-out buddy lol.
