This is probably in the completely wrong place, if it is then I'm sorry. So far when reading through, I haven't found any mention of lgbt support groups, the iag, psco's or anything like that. I think there should be a bit set up for these sorts of issues.
How are people going to understand things such as transgender, disablities and just be generally aware of such things if no-one talks about them. People would think that they arent accepted and wont learn to accept them unless people talk about it. I guess what im trying to say is maybe you need an alternative thread or something like that. The less people that are aware the more problems people will have accepting people and being accepted, people need to know about indipendent advisory groups, lesbian gay bi and trans etc. There's a lot of help out there but people arent aware of it.

Sorry to throw a spanner in the works, sorry if this is in the wrong place, and if it makes no sense, or if there is a place that i havent found yet.

LGBT Group: http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/group.php?groupid=9

There is also a thread in the Sexuality forum: TEEN SEXUALITY - This might answer your question! (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=18215)

I could see a sticky which has information on support groups, maybe help lines, etc. Or actually, more likely would be something on the front page. Something that maybe has links and numbers. Is that what you're talkin about? Because I agree, we can answer questions here but having information on professional support and help could be a good thing.

I could see a sticky about that. There are support groups around the world for LGBT. If you want, then you can compile some information and make a thread based around it in the Sexuality forum.
