Well, first things first what I think you should do is start getting in contact with him again. Find out from his sister if he has anything like MSN, and then see if you can start talking to him more that way.

It's probably best that you ask him out yourself, that way you'll seem more confident. Getting to know him a little more right now, and putting yourself back into his mind will also help, and give yourself a better chance.

If worst comes to worst, you could get his sister to ask him for you. It's just usually a better idea to do it yourself.

It's unlikely he would admit to his sister as to whom he likes. But it's probably worth a try.

If you really like this guy, then I think you should pluck up the courage to ask him out. Sometimes life is worth taking risks! :)

Are you good friends with his sister? If so you could ask her about him, like if it's a good idea whether to ask him out of not. Or just ask her for HIS msn, bebo, myspace, facebook or whatever you want. You can tell him how you feel, like how well you used to get along, and also reassure him that there is no pressure on him to go out with, so he feels at ease because if you don't talk to eachother often then he may not feel comfortable in going out with you.
